"When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been,
and there you will always long to return."
Retired Air Force Pilot, instructor and evaluator; Aviation consultant
Summary of Expertise:
Jeff began his aviation career at the USAF Academy. After being chosen for flight school he graduated from pilot training and followed-on to B-52G and H models where he deployed overseas for numerous exercises and operations, including the Gulf War. He left the venerable “BUFF” for an exciting U.S. Embassy assignment where he also flew C-12s (King Airs) after completing the King Air course at FlightSafety International. Along the way he picked up invaluable international flight and combat-support experience as well as his commercial license and instructor certifications. Shortly after military retirement, he obtained his Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
He has over 4000 hours of flight and simulator experience with over 1000 hours of military instructor time and over 160 hours of military evaluator (flight examiner) time. In 1993, the Chief of Staff, United States Air Force and the National Aeronautic Association honored him with a national-level award, the Mackay Trophy, for safely recovering his crippled B-52 and its crew after the catastrophic loss of all 4 engines on one side of the aircraft. Jeff currently owns Entropy Solutions Consulting LLC, an aviation and drone consulting, and leadership development company that has performed on private and government contracts including overseas aviation operations.
